Carmen Palmero graduated from the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain. Her students are her favorite part about West Harrison. She enjoys how much people care about each other in our community. In her free time, Carmen loves traveling, reading, seeing movies, cooking, and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite movies are Out of Africa and The Bridges of Madison County. Her all-time favorite book is The Pillars of Earth by Ken Follet. All Carmen wants to do in life is to make sure that she lives life to the fullest. Since Mrs. Palmero is from Spain, she has experienced multiple cultures. She thinks that people in the Midwest act shy towards each other in their interactions and need to be more open- minded. Carmen believes that her students need to open their minds, go try new things, and experience new cultures to grow!
