Fall Sports "Parents Night" in MV Tonight!

Help us recognize and celebrate the seniors of the above fall sports tonight in MV. Seniors and Parents please meet Ms. West down by the front gates at 6:15 to line up for a 6:30 presentation before the game.
Parents are free to enter, just let the gate workers know you are a senior athletes parent for admission.

Cheer Camp Performance Schedule Tonight!

-PreK, 1st and 2nd will cheer after the first quarter.
-Middle School will cheer at half time of the game.
-3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will cheer after the 3rd quarter.

Cheerleaders meet at the entry gate within 2 minutes left prior to your quarters performance. MV coaches will be there with white cheer camp shirts on to greet you and get you set up.

Shirts and Poms will be available for pickup from 6pm-7:15pm at the table next to the bleachers. Cheerleaders are asked to wear Black pants, leggings or shorts/skirts and tennis shoes!

“Reed comes to school ready to learn. He actively participates throughout the day for all subject areas and works hard on independent tasks!” - Miss Brock (Kindergarten)

“Samuel is the SOAR winner because he is safe in the hallway. He uses walking feet, and a quiet voice. Samuel is on task when he is working, and he achieves by doing his best.” - Ms. Maguire (1st grade)

“Fritz is on task and achieving by trying his best on his assignments and he listens to the directions the first time they are given.” - Mrs. Rife (2nd grade)

“Carson was soaring this week by being a good listener during math class. He also stayed on task while practicing writing multiplication equations.” - Mrs. Lewis (3rd grade)

“Justice is a student that wants to always do his best. He participates well in class!” - Mr. Stevenson (4th grade)

West Harrison represented Harrison County today in the Iowa Healthiest State Walk! This Healthiest State Initiative brings awareness to the importance of physical activity and socialization and shows how something as simple as a walk with friends can accomplish these goals. Thanks to all the Hawkeyes that participated in today's event.
