Conferences will be next week at West Harrison. These will be held on Monday, February 13th from 2pm-6pm (Boys BB district game @ 7pm) and February 15th from 4pm-8pm. There will be no school on Friday, February 17th. The signup link for pre K - 5th grade have been emailed out to parents. There are also 1:30 early dismissals on the 13th and 15th due to these conferences. Thanks and hope to see you there!

Friday, February 3rd – A Day to Celebrate Good Behavior and Great SOARing Hawkeyes!
Along with our weekly winners for the SOARing Hawkeye award, the elementary has also been working on filling a LARGE marble jar in return for a fun celebration. In order to get a marble to add to the jar, students must first earn a SOAR ticket for showing safety, being on task, achieving, and/or showing respect. One ticket equals one marble and when the jar is full the entire elementary is rewarded with a fun surprise. This encourages all students to put forth their best effort to earn tickets. To no surprise, the jar was quickly filled and Mrs. Fonley awarded the PK-5th grade an ice cream party as a PBIS celebration! After the party, the jar did have to be emptied to start back over. We will keep you updated on our next Hawkeye celebration. For now, enjoy some pictures of a sweet afternoon at West Harrison!

The Junior High Wrestling Meet scheduled for tomorrow February 7th @ Saint Alberts has been cancelled. There is no makeup date for this meet at this time.
West Harrison Girls Basketball Regionals will begin Thursday, February 9 with West Harrison vs. Tri Center in Neola at 7pm.

The Varsity Girls also start Regional Play on Thursday, February 9th. This will be one game at 7pm in Neola. Good Luck Ladies!

Valentine's Day is coming! Let someone know you're thinking of them with a Valentine-gram. Grams will be for sale from February 6th to February 10. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to purchase a gram for a student, please contact Keri, Annette, or myself and your gram will be sent on February 14th.

Tonight, January 31st, is Parent/Senior Night at West Harrison. We will be recognizing the athletes in between the Girls and Boys Varsity games Vs. Ar-We-Va. All seniors and their parents/guardians being recognized are asked to meet in the back hallway promptly at the end of the girls game. Underclassmen will stand in the bleachers with their parents/guardians when announced. The order for the event will be band, winter cheer, wrestling, girls basketball, boys basketball. As a thank you parents of the athletes will be allowed into the games for free tonight. Thanks for all your support. GO HAWKEYES!
