There will be no Little Hawks wrestling tonight due to sickness of both coaches.
The West Harrison School Board has adopted a policy to accept donations to assist students and families with paying for school lunch and breakfast. The policy allows the district to accept donations and distribute those funds to needy students and families based on specific guidelines. Donations to this fund as well as student and families that receive donated money are confidential. If you or someone you know, is interested in making a donation please contact Tonya Radil at 712-646-2231.
Students and families do not apply to receive funds as part of this policy as you can see below and there are limits to how much a family could receive in a year. However, if your family DOES NOT wish to have donated monies applied to your account you will need to contact Tonya Radil at 712-646-2231 to make that request and complete a the required form.
It is our hope that by implementing this policy we are able to assist some of the students and families at West Harrison who are in need.

High School Spring Play Auditions will be January 9th at 6:30pm in the Old Gym due to the concert change to the 12th.
Due to numbers there will not be any JV girls quarters played this week. The weekly schedule is as follows:
Thursday @ Mo Valley (4:30 freshman/reserve boys - 6pm Varsity Girls)
Friday in Mondamin Vs Woodbine (Varsity Girls 6pm - Varsity Boys 7:30ish)
West Harrison will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Wednesday. January 4th. Also, there is not an early out tomorrow. School will be dismissed at 3:30.
JH girls basketball will start up again on Wednesday, Jan. 4th after school.
JH wrestling practice will begin on Thursday, Jan. 5th after school. Make sure physicals are updates (they are good for one year). If you have any questions or concerns contact coach Nunez.

The 7-12 West Harrison/West Monona Concert scheduled for tonight has been postponed to January 12th @ 7pm. The Junior High Girls Basketball team students that are involved in the concert will join the music group in Onawa after their game in Sloan. Those athletes in JH Girls Basketball not involved in the concert will be brought back to Mondamin after the game that evening.
