Congratulations to Sydney Sherer for qualifying for the State Track and Field Meet in Des Moines on May 16th and 17th. Sydney placed 3rd in the discuss with a throw of 110'8" and 2nd in the shot with a put of 37'1". Sydney throws the shot put on Thursday at 2:00 pm and the discuss at 2:00 pm on Friday. Good luck Sydney!

The track State Qualifying Meet in Tabor, has been postponed to Friday at the same time.
West Harrison senior Sydney Sherer sets new record for the discus. To do so, Sherer had to break her mother's 25-year-old record.

Congratulations to Maclayn Houston for breaking the 400 M Dash record last night at the Kandi Baxter / Hawkeye JH Invitational. Her time of 1:06.19 broke the record set in 2010 (1:07.01).

Remember you can always check your student’s lunch balance on PaySchools. We will work with families if you let us know when you are able to send money. Please call 712-646-2016 with any concerns. Balances are emailed out to parents every day so please check your email if you need that information.

Logan's JH track meet to be held at West Harrison is on April 23rd.
Due to the flooding of Logan Magnolia's track, their JH track meet, will be held at West Harrison on Tuesday, April 13th starting at 4:15 pm. Logan will be using their own workers and timing system.
National Honor Society had a great morning picking up garbage from the city parks of our 5 communities. Followed by a fun afternoon of eating lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then bowling. Thanks to Mr. Nuzum for driving.
