We have our first SOARing Hawkeyes for the 2024-2025 school year! The weekly S.O.A.R. award is given to elementary students who display the following positive behaviors:
S- Safety (I will act in a way that protects myself and others.)
O- On Task (I will focus on what we are learning and only my own work.)
A- Achievement (I will show my best effort in all that I do.)
R- Respect (I will respect myself, others, and our school. I am kind and helpful.)

The Hawkeyes will compete in Junior High / Junior Varsity Football tonight in Mondamin.
The Junior High will kick off at 4:30 with the Junior Varsity to follow around 6pm.
The Junior High Volleyball team will be in Mondamin Tuesday for a home game. The "B" rotation will play first at 4pm followed by the "A" rotation after best 2 of 3 sets.
These events will be free admission, no tickets needed.

Clarification for JH Football practice today while following the early out schedule.
The Junior High Football team is required to get so many practices in before they play game 1 according to state regulations. This forces them to hold a practice this evening (1:30-3:30) and next Wednesday, September 4th (1:30-3:30) to get this requirement in. Normally we would not hold them for practices on a holiday early out schedule. Thanks for understanding!
The Junior High Volleyball team does not hold the same state standard for practices due to less safety equipment to wear. They will not hold practices on our early out schedule today or next Wednesday, September 4th.
