Junior High Football practice will meet at 2:30pm this week due to our weekly early out schedule. We will have the boys dismissed at 4:30pm all week. A parent letter will be sent home today with the schedule and other important information.
Any students looking to get into flag football up to 5th grade has an option at the Blair Family YMCA. Here is the contact info for this program. You don't need your own team either. They can place you on a team if you don't have enough to create one. Contact bpalmer@blairymca.org for more information!
All juniors and seniors and parents are invited to the Mondamin Fire and Rescue Open House on August 29th at 6:00 p.m. at the Mondamin Fire Hall. This will be an informative introduction to the Jr. EMS program as well as a look into the functioning of the Fire and Rescue Squad. It will include a view of the facility, fire and rescue vehicle information, a demonstration of the new drone, and other activities. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

If your child or children are currently enrolled in Little Hawks, and plan to attend the program for the 22/23 school year, I will need new forms filled out. I will be at the school in the Little Hawks room on Back to School night so that the forms can be updated. If you can not make it to Back to School night, just let me know and we can make other arrangements.

FYI, there will NOT be a fall sports night for Athletics this year. This would typically fall on the Friday before school starts. Reasons for this decision are lower numbers for football scrimmaging and not much participation for our cross country meetings that have been held in the media center. Our Volleyball program has an organized scrimmage the evening before (Thursday, August 18th) that will be open to watch in Mondamin at 4pm. Parents: The coaches for each sport will communicate the need for a parent meeting or send out some type of communication for you. If you don't receive anything you may communicate through email to them. Thanks for understanding and looking forward to big crowds for the Hawkeyes at this years fall events!
