On Monday, February 12th, the West Harrison Elementary and Middle School staff hosted S.T.E.M. Night. This event had multiple educational activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Throughout the night, students were able to explore new activities at different grade levels, build creations out of blocks, Rubik's Cubes, Legos, etc., and try out new forms of technology. We would also like to send an extended thank you to our special guests who joined us for the evening of fun. They include Connie Betts (Harrison County Naturalist at Willow Lake), Erin Gorman (Harrison County Extension Youth Coordinator), and members from Green Hills AEA for hosting the photo booth and Planetarium. Students, we hope you all had a fun and educational night with your West Harrison friends and family! (Part 1)

Do you remember the SOARing Hawkeyes who filled the entire marble jar for positive behavior? On the 100th day of school, Thursday, February 8th, we surprised the elementary and middle school students with fun and entertaining guest! The Amazing Arthur, who is a magician and comedian, came to West Harrison! The students were amazed at his talent and magical tricks. A few of our students and staff were lucky enough to join him during the performance. What a wonderful show it was for all ages! Keep up the great work Hawkeyes, keep SOARing and showing that positive behavior throughout our school! (Part 1)
