West Harrison will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Wednesday. January 4th. Also, there is not an early out tomorrow. School will be dismissed at 3:30.
JH girls basketball will start up again on Wednesday, Jan. 4th after school.
JH wrestling practice will begin on Thursday, Jan. 5th after school. Make sure physicals are updates (they are good for one year). If you have any questions or concerns contact coach Nunez.

The 7-12 West Harrison/West Monona Concert scheduled for tonight has been postponed to January 12th @ 7pm. The Junior High Girls Basketball team students that are involved in the concert will join the music group in Onawa after their game in Sloan. Those athletes in JH Girls Basketball not involved in the concert will be brought back to Mondamin after the game that evening.

West Harrison will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, December 21st due to the winter storm warning. High School semester test will begin at 8:00am. Students report to your 2nd period class.
There will be no Little Hawks Wrestling practice tonight due to the concert date change.
The game for HS Basketball G/B Varsity will be @ Westside tonight. The original schedule had us in Mondamin.
The Junior High Boys BB team will have their last game (makeup w/ Whiting) tonight at 4pm in the New Gym in Mondamin.
Tonight's Elementary Concert is postponed until tomorrow evening, Tuesday at 7:00pm due to road conditions.
The JV/V game @ Newell tonight has been postponed to a later date due to the forecast and current weather conditions. The boys will practice at 5:15 tonight after the JH boys and HS girls.

With the pending dangerous wind chills forecast for Thursday, we are going to modify our schedule for this week. We will not have an early out on Wednesday. On Wednesday school will be dismissed at 3:30 There will be no school on Thursday, December 22nd due to the dangerous wind chills. We wanted to get these changes to you as early as possible so that you can plan accordingly.
High School semester tests will now take place on Tuesday and Wednesday with odd period tests on Tuesday and even period tests on Wednesday. Elementary parties will be held on Wednesday.

There will be a makeup game with Whiting on Tuesday, December 20th for JH Boys Basketball at 4pm in Mondamin. This will be one game due to Whiting numbers.

Santa is coming to West Harrison!! Join the Junior Class as we welcome Santa to our school and enjoy breakfast with him.
Santa will be in the commons from 9-12 this Saturday (December 10). Breakfast is provided by the Junior Class and is free will donation; all funds raised go to West Harrison Prom 2023.
Parents can also do some Christmas shopping at the Book Fair in the Elementary Library, open from 9-12.

The WH Booster Club will be selling on hand apparel, stocking hats, hats, and yard signs this week at the home basketball games on Tuesday Dec. 13 and Friday Dec. 16th. If you need any last minute Christmas gifts, these items would be great!!
