This Friday night's high school football game with E/EHK (Sept. 3) is in Exira at 7:00 pm.
As of 1:30 pm today the Logan Cross Country Meet will be running only the high school portion. There will be no JH tonight.

This is the message received from Siouxland Christian about our football game with them this Friday in Whiting (at 7:00 pm).
We have been informed from Whiting that several of the bleachers have been broken due to moving. With that being said the only bleachers available are under the press box. The visitors side is not available so fans will need to be prepared with blankets and lawn chairs. I apologize for this inconvenience!
This is a shoot out to our coaches and athletes from last year's sports season. West Harrison was recognized by the Iowa High School Athletic Associations (boys and girls) as one of 182 schools, which is less than half, who had no student-athletes or coaches ejected during the 2020-2021 school year. Good job West Harrison athletes and coaches.
Calendar Reminder:
1: Next week has full days EXCEPT for Friday (9/3). That is a 2:30 Early out due to the upcoming Labor Day weekend.
2: No School Monday, September 6.
3. We will start up the Wednesday 1:30 Early Outs on September 29.
What a great first day!!
A few things we’ve run into:
1: Send a water bottle to school. We will get some ordered for the elementary and wash them at school but until then, send something in so the kids can stay hydrated!

The West Harrison TeamMates Program will be hosting a spaghetti dinner during open house from 5:00-7:30 pm in the high school commons. It is free will donation. Open house is Thursday, August 19th.
