If you missed sign up for Little Hawks Kid Care, there is still time to sign up. You will need to get the required forms that have to be filled out and retuned to me before your child or children can attend.
Email me at trife@w-harrison.k12.ia.us to set up a time to get the forms.
It was decided that Pre School age children will not be able to start until the September 7th first day of preschool.
I am excited to get the program started again.

Reminder that the first official day of HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL practice started this Monday August 9th from 4-8 and will be all week at the same time. These practices are REQUIRED. If you are not able to attend please contact the coaches.
High school volleyball practice is all week 3:30-6:00 PM.
Cross country starts on Thursday, Aug. 12th at 9:00 am.
Junior high practices start when school starts on Aug. 23rd.

West Harrison is in need of help in the School Food Service Department from 7:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. You must be proficient in math. Applications may be picked up at West Harrison or downloaded from the school website. Job is open until filled.

School Registration will be postponed until next Monday, August 9. We have hit a bump in the road with our payment system. If it’s ready to go sooner, we will open registration ASAP!

Harrison County Medical Clinics will be receiving doses of the Pfizer vaccine and want to get the word out to all families! This is the vaccine approved for young adults.
If you would like to arrange for a COVID vaccination for your 12-18 year old, call an area clinic in Harrison county to get your name on a list or schedule an appointment ASAP. Vaccinations will begin soon!
*Vaccination is not a requirement for the school year; this is only a PSA for those interested and looking for information.

Due to the "family week" started by the two state athletic associations no activities can take place July 26- August 1st. There will be no weightlifting next week.

We will be starting HS football Camp August 2nd -6th from 4-8 PM. And official practice starts the week of August 9th from 4-8 PM. Please have your physicals done or scheduled ahead of time if possible. We will hand out equipment August 2nd! Any questions please contact Coach Stevenson!
Just as a reminder, ALL students must have up to date immunization records to attend the first day of school or they will need to be excluded. I must have this information on or before the first day of school.
