These Hawkeyes were caught SOARing in March! The weekly S.O.A.R. award is given to elementary students who display the following positive behaviors:

The HS Boys Track Meet @ Treynor Tonight has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. The HS Boys Team will travel to Glenwood tomorrow, 4/8, for an added meet that begins at 4:30pm!

Las Fallas is a traditional celebration held annually in commemoration of Saint Joseph in the city of Valencia, Spain. The five main days celebrated are from March 15 to 19 . In Valencia, artists build satirical monuments that are set up in the streets and burned at night on March 19th.
Every year, the Spanish classes at West Harrison build their own masterpieces, and we burn them. After that, we like to celebrate Las Fallas by having churros and hot chocolate.
This year, the theme was Spring, and the High School Students got help from PK-to 8th grade.
It was an amazing experience for them.
You can come see Las Fallas in our commons. We will burn them on April 11th.

We have a West Harrison student who has put in a lot of time and dedication to help the gentlemen in Mondamin who lost his home due to a fire on March 20th. Please consider helping his cause.
The Chicken Noodle Dinner Fundraiser that was scheduled for March 23rd has been rescheduled for April 6th!! No cooking equals no dishes - come enjoy a home cooked meal!!
